Being born and raised in Northern Michigan I graduated from Grand Valley State University after getting my degree and then doing a year of student teaching. After teaching in Virginia, I decided to come back to Northern Michigan. This current year is my third year teaching at Alanson and I am very excited to be apart of this awesome community. This year I am teaching math for grades 9-12 in addition to teaching a freshman P.E./Health class. I will also be coaching Varsity Baseball and Middle School Boys Basketball this year. Outside of school I enjoy doing anything outdoors including hunting and fishing.
